What am I doing to prevent risk of COVID-19 in clinic?
The clinic is still open for business and I would like to reassure patients my current protocols for reduced infection risk:
– As a part of my regular practice, I always wash my hands thoroughly between clients
– I have increased my cleaning routine so that handles and common surfaces are cleaned between each client
-I am encouraging clients to wash hands on arrival and/or use our alcohol antibacterial gel
– I am no longer using towels or pillows, The use of couch rolls are used only with bolsters than can be sanitized after each patient.
– I do not treat those with cold/flu at any time as you are contraindicated for most treatments during that time. Please get in touch if you’re not well and we can reschedule your appointment for a later date
– In our initial consultation, any travel abroad within the last 14 days will be noted on your assessment.
-If you have been to an affected place in the last 14 days or had contact with somebody with Coronavirus or have symptoms of a cough, fever, shortness of breath please protect yourself and others and do not attend the clinic, call to cancel your appointment, stay at home and call NHS 111 for expert advice.
I am keeping up to date with the advice from Public Health England and following all suggested preventative measures.
